# Sync a pipeline repo's manifest with the spec

> Rewrites dsl_input.json and dsl_output.json so they wire exactly the spec's declared sources, file slots and destinations. Existing mappings are kept, new sources get a fresh folder (data/in_N, or data/<slot> for a file slot), new destinations get a fresh out/out_N.jsonl, and entries that are no longer declared are removed. A fresh name never reuses one the manifest already had. dvc.yaml is not changed. Nothing is committed when the manifest is already in sync.
